With the assistance of the Davidson Land Conservancy, the Town of Davidson was just named a Bee City by Bee City USA. Bee City USA is a nonprofit national organization that fosters ongoing dialogue in urban areas to raise awareness of the role pollinators play in sustaining 3/4 of the world’s plant species and what each of us can do to provide them with healthy habitat. Out Bee City USA activities will be conducted through the Davidson Lands Conservancy’s Pollinator sub-committee, which will meet on the third Thursday of each month at 8:30 am at the DLC office at 120 S. Main Street. For more information about the Davidson Bee City USA program, contact DLC Board member, Christine Lisiewski at 704-400-2820 or Charlene Minor at [email protected].
