Bill Latham, chairperson of the 2011 Run for Green Steering Committee, announced today that the Davidson Lands Conservancy will again sponsor Run for Green/Green Day on September 17, 2011.
Consisting of a half-marathon, 10K and 5K race, the Run for Green winds through the streets and greenways of scenic and historic Davidson. This year the completion of the West Branch Greenway will allow even more of the half-marathon to be run on greenway trails.

This year will also mark the third year that the DLC will sponsor the ‘Green Day’ festival in conjunction with the Run for Green. Held on the Village Green in downtown Davidson, Green Day will feature over twenty exhibitors as well as music and games for children.

Can you please let me know how I can view your previous half-marathon results? And can you please advise if the course (that winds) is rolly or primarily “flat & fast” (that would of course attract more participants). And you should adjust the half-marathon/10K age-groups in the future to higher than just 65+ (65-69, 70-74, & at 75/over would be more attractive). Good luck. Gary
