Davidson Farmer’s Market
The Davidson Lands Conservancy is proud to have played a key role in the formation and development of the Davidson Farmer’s Market, and we continue to provide financial and in-kind support to this great organization.
The Davidson Farmer’s Market (DFM) is year-round market featuring more than 40 farmers and local producers from within a 100 mile radius. The market is a lively gathering place for meeting friends and for learning about food, agriculture and nutrition. With live music, coffee and food trucks available most weeks, the Farmer’s Market is a great weekly town gathering place and community event.
Growers and producers are on hand to answer your questions, from “How was this grown?” to “How can I reduce my carbon footprint?” The local producers at the market include farms, nurseries, bakeries, meat and poultry providers, soaps, and lotions.
The DFM includes a variety of quality goods, such as certified organic, naturally grown and conventionally grown fruits and vegetables, grass fed beef, pastured pork, eggs from free-range chickens, fresh baked goods, prepared foods, fresh cut flowers, herbs, and bedding plants and more.
The Davidson Farmers Market runs on Saturdays year round from 8:00am-noun, and is located next to town hall between Main St. and Jackson St. You can find the DLC and WOW at a booth at the market most weeks starting at 9:00am!
