The Davidson Lands Conservancy is the monitoring agent for Fisher Farm Park, a 200 acre natural area located on the east side of Davidson, North Carolina. Fisher Farm Park is a Town of Davidson Park, and Mecklenburg County holds a conservation easement on the property.
As monitoring agent, the Davidson Lands Conservancy plays a vital role in ensuring that the park remains as intended in the conservation agreement, and will help protect critical natural areas within the park.
Fisher Farm Park is one of the jewels of the Town of Davidson and Mecklenburg County park system, being one of the few passive parks in the area. The West Branch of the Rocky River flows through the lower section of the park, and bounds an expansive meadow. Single track mountain biking trails wind through some of the forested areas of the park.
For more information on the park visit the Town of Davidson Parks and Recreation website here: http://townofdavidson.org/839/Fisher-Farm.
