The Davidson Lands Conservancy recently entered into a conservation agreement with a property owner on Grey Road which will protect several acres of prime woodland along a tributary that feeds into the Rocky River.

According to DLC Executive Director Roy Alexander, “The easement will protect 9.525 acres of outstandingly rich woodland, 1520 feet of stream bank, and ~2 acres of water quality buffer and 1 acre of floodplain on a tributary of the West Branch of the Rocky River.  The owner covenants that the land will remain in its natural non-developed state. The parcel is a portion of a 72.40 acre fee simple estate and the owners intend to place additional portions in easement in the future.”
