Nature Hike through the West Branch Wetland

The attached video is from Saturday May 21.  As a part of the opening of the West Branch Greenway, Chris Matthews of Mecklenburg County Natural Resources led a hike through the adjacent wetland.  Joining him were expert birder, Rob Van Epps, Reid Patterson who knows a lot about fungi and butterflies, and Gary Marshall also from Natural Resources.

    This was a great tour and I was happy to be along for the walk. Mr. Matthews was a wonderful guide. Thanks DLC for all your work to improve Davidson.
