This World of Wonder family outing will take place Saturday, August 20 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am.

We hope you’ll join us on a nature outing with a local pollinator expert and naturalist, Rob Van Epps on  Saturday, August 20.  We’ll be walking along local trails discovering butterflies, bees, bugs and dragonflies. You’ll have a chance to learn about butterfly life cycles, which kinds we should see in Davidson, and why they are so important. There are over 20,000 butterfly species in the world, and many of them live right here!

The outing will take place in Abersham Park on the greenway. You’ll come to the Lower Parking area to meet. Here’s a google maps locater for your information. https://www.google.com/maps/place/West+Branch+Rocky+River+Greenway+(Abersham+Loop+Entrance)/@35.5000842,-80.8075162,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x885401604eb91441:0x80cd70cf04fc128a!8m2!3d35.5000842!4d-80.8075162
